About This Resource

This Christian devotional on Divine Grace is a free digital resource for personal reflection, meditation and devotion, written from an open and inclusive Christian perspective. It has the title: 'I Am What I Am Through Faith, By The Grace Of God' (Or: The Forgotten Spiritual Harm Of Living In A Meritocracy). The devotional first looks at a Bible verse (1 Corinthians 15:10) and then offers a short meditation on the topic of God's grace, as viewed from a contemporary spiritual perspective of life in a performance-oriented society. Finally, the meditation is followed by a short prayer and questions for continued personal reflection.

When you download this resource for free, you will receive a PDF document that you can print or read as a digital version on your computer, tablet or phone. The document also includes editable text fields for you to type in (and save) your answers to the reflective questions if you like.

The Christian meditation has been designed as a short, e.g. one-day devotional resource. It has a standard reading time of approximately four minutes (without the time needed for personal reflection and prayer) and is therefore ideal for short breaks and busy lifestyles.
